Pride’s Footsteps

From its resources and programming offered to its strong presence in the Columbus Pride parade every year, Ohio State is considered by many today as a strong advocate and ally for the LGBTQ community.
However, like many higher education institutions, it took the efforts of students, faculty and staff through the years to bring forth progress and change.
We support gay pride week. It is a needed attempt to give homosexuals the self respect and unity with others they need to cope with a society that discriminates against their way of life both socially and legally.
